UNIFORM

ENCORE PERFORMANCE STUDIO IS A COMPULSORY UNIFORM DANCE STUDIO.

All students must wear uniform to every class.

Students can only wear ‘Encore purple’ (fuchsia purple), black and white to classes. Students may mix and match what they wear, providing they follow the colour code with the exception of Classical Ballet classes. Mix & Match; crops tops with high waisted shorts, leotards with low rise shorts or our super popular Encore jersey with bike shorts.

Our reasons for having a uniform code:

1.     All students will be able to focus more on learning, rather than what other students or themselves are wearing.

2.     Students will be able to all feel equal, creating a sense of pride and spirit.

3.     For teachers it is easy to choreograph routines when their students are wearing same/similar uniforms.

4.     At EPS we try to encourage a sense of respect and discipline.

CLASSICAL BALLET UNIFORM

PRIMARY - ADVANCED

Female students must have hair up off face and neck in either a bun, braids or claw clip, pink ballet tights OR ballet socks, black or purple leotards and black or purple wrap skirt.

Male ballet students must wear black tights, white singlet and black ballet shoes.

SHOES

Jazz - Black slim fit shoes.

Tap - Black slip on tap shoes.

Ballet - Pink leather ballet flats.

Musical Theatre - Black slim fit shoes.

Hip Hop - Skate shoes/ high tops.

Modern – Skin tone Foot thongs.

Acro - Bare feet
